Install the Bioforce pond filter as per the instruction manual supplied by Cyprio.
Attaching the Cal Pump CFS155 filter screen to the pump (Bioforce 500, 1000 and 2000 packages only): This filter screen replaces the foam pre-filter that comes with the Supreme Pond-Mag pumps. Foam pre-filters have a tendency to clog up quite easily and will require frequent cleaning. The Cal Pump filter screen allows smaller particles to be transported to the Bioforce pond filter rather than getting stuck in the pump pre-filter and clogging up the pump. The foam pump pre-filter is not required for this installation but can be used as an alternative to the filter screen if you wish.
Attach the male pipe thread nipple (included with the filter screen) to the filter screen. Attach the filter screen to the pump intake.
Attaching the tubing to the pump:
Supreme Pond-Mag 2 and 5 Pumps: Slide the 3/4" kink-free tubing over the 1/2" male threaded pump discharge fitting and secure the tubing with a stainless steel hose clamp.
Supreme Pond-Mag 9.5 Pump: Slide the 1" kink-free tubing over the 3/4" male threaded pump discharge fitting and secure the tubing with a stainless steel hose clamp.
Supreme Pond-Mag 24 Pump: Attach the threaded reducing bushing and female threaded hose adapter to the 1" male threaded pump discharge fitting, slide the 1-1/2" kink-free tubing over the barbed hose adapter and secure the tubing with a stainless steel hose clamp.
Attaching the tubing to the Bioforce pond filter: Cut the Cyprio hosetails as required (please see the Bioforce instruction manual for details). Attach the tubing coming from the pump to the hosetail on the filter intake. Attach the tubing going back to the pond or waterfall to the hosetail on the filter discharge. Secure both with a hose clamp.
