Algae and pathogens can threaten the delicate balance of the pond environment. OASE Bitron C UV clarifiers aid in reducing their growth and spread by passing pond water past a powerful UV lamp. The UVC light causes green algae to clump together so they can be removed by the filter unit.
The amount of water subjected to UV light can be adjusted with the integrated bypass regulator. This way, the OASE Bitron C can be adapted to maintain the balance of any pond environment.
OASE is the only company offering automatic cleaning technology in clarifiers. The integrated automatic cleaning mechanism keeps the UV lamp's quartz cover clear and free of deposits, so the UV light's intensity remains at full strength without additional maintenance. The automatic cleaning mechanism is powered by the water flow around the quartz glass tube and prevents sludge or algae from forming deposits. Integrated permanent magnets help prevent calcium deposits and guarantee long periods of operation without maintenance.

• OASE Bitron C UVCs are weatherproof but not submersible - they must be installed outside of the pond
• DO NOT USE in combination with high-pressure waterfall pumps
• Water has to be pumped through the UVC - do not operate on gravity feed
• This product will not eliminate blanketweed/string algae
