Each
OASE Aquarius pump comes with a multi-step hosetail and a ball joint /
diverter assembly. This attachment comes in handy for running a fountain
head and tubing to a waterfall or external pond filter off of one pump.
The
diverter assembly has its own separate flow control knob. By turning the
ball joint at a 90° angle, the flow control knob can be used to either
regulate the flow of water out through the side outlet (to a waterfall
or external pond filter - see figure at top left) or the top outlet (to
a fountain head - see figure at top right)
