The highly acclaimed FIS (Flexible Impeller System) incorporated in these pumps insures high performance with very low power consumption. The principle behind the FIS system is to prevent the pump from running in reverse. This is a common problem in competitive units and has a serious impact on performance levels. In addition, the Aquarius series pumps are equipped with the proper grounding mechanism to provide maximum safety, meeting all National Electrical Code requirements. Approved for both indoor and outdoor applications. Adjustable flow control on all models Each pump includes swivel joint and flow diverter, thus allowing for multiple outlets and flow controls in virtually any direction Only one moving part - the magnetic impeller Wrap-around filter housing, no foam pre-filter to clog up Oil-free - eliminates risk of contamination of aquatic life Made in Germany 3-year manufacturer's limited warranty MUST be plugged in to a properly grounded and GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) protected 120 Volt outlet !
